PARKSTRAAT 25, ZAANDAM

The monumental building at Parkstraat 25 in Zaandam, originally constructed in 1899 as a Volksbadhuis with an upper-level apartment, stands as a striking example of historic architecture. Featuring its iconic brick archways, pillar elements, and detailed plasterwork, the building harmonizes perfectly with the timeless charm of Parkstraat and Westzijde, an area known for preserving the authentic character of Zaandam.

In 2006, the property underwent a transformation into a residential complex with nine homes. Situated on a spacious 672 m² private plot, the site provided ample opportunity for expansion. As a result, we are currently developing 14 new-build apartments at the rear, adjacent to Tuinstraat.

In 2020, we acquired the building and undertook a complete renovation, creating 10 individual apartments, each with its own private entrance. Before the renovation, we fully renewed the foundation, ensuring a robust and lasting structure. Due to the scale and complexity of the project, the municipality designated it a 'kanjer project.' In 2023, we were honored with the prestigious Kanjer Subsidy, recognizing the exceptional quality of the finished work.

The property is currently leased to a respected healthcare institution providing assisted living services.
